PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy describes how XENRYA, LLC (“XENRYA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Zyntria Web Studio (the “Service”).
Zyntria Web Studio is primarily a browser-based, local-first HTML editing tool. The core content you create (such as your projects, HTML, templates you apply, snapshots, and settings) is generally stored locally in your browser (for example, using local storage) and is not transmitted to us by default.
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through the Service interface, any websites that link to this Privacy Policy, and related support communications. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Zyntria Web Studio is designed so that your work typically stays on your device. However, certain actions may involve third parties:
- If you choose to open an external AI provider (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot), you leave the Service and interact with that provider directly.
- If you copy/paste your HTML into a third-party tool or platform (for example, an LMS), that platform’s privacy practices apply.
- If the Service fetches starter content or external resources (when available), your browser may make network requests to those destinations.
We do not automatically send your editor content to AI providers. You control what you copy, paste, or upload to third parties.
1. Definitions
1.1 “Service” means Zyntria Web Studio and related pages that link to this Privacy Policy.
1.2 “User Content” means the HTML, text, images, and other content you create or paste into the editor (including projects, templates applied, snapshots, and settings), whether stored locally or shared by you externally.
1.3 “Local Storage Data” means data the Service stores in your browser (for example, projects, editor content, snapshots, settings, and UI preferences).
1.4 “Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual.
1.5 “Third-Party Services” means services not operated by XENRYA, including AI providers, hosting providers, and platforms where you may publish or paste content (e.g., LMS systems).
2. Information We Handle
The Service is designed so that your User Content is typically stored locally in your browser. This includes, depending on your usage:
- Projects (names, IDs, and timestamps) and associated HTML
- Snapshots/version history you save (manual) or enable (auto)
- Settings and preferences (for example: theme, density, preview mode, and AI-mode settings)
- Template selections and filters
- Generated outputs (for example: LMS-optimized HTML) until you copy/apply/export them
By default, we do not receive this Local Storage Data on our servers because it is stored on your device. If you clear your browser storage, your locally stored projects and settings may be removed.
If you contact us for support (for example via support@xenrya.com), we will receive the information you provide. This may include your name, email address, message contents, and any attachments you choose to send (such as screenshots or HTML snippets). Please do not include sensitive information in support messages.
If you access the Service from a website we operate, our infrastructure (or our hosting providers) may automatically receive basic technical information common to web services, such as:
- IP address and timestamps
- Browser type and device information
- Request logs and error logs (to help maintain reliability and security)
This information is used for operational and security purposes (for example, abuse prevention and performance troubleshooting). We do not use this information for behavioral advertising.
Zyntria Web Studio primarily relies on browser storage for local-first functionality (for example, local storage). If the Service is delivered via a website, that website may use essential cookies for basic functionality and security. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking as part of the Service.
The Service may include convenience features that help you open or use Third-Party Services (for example, AI providers). When you interact with Third-Party Services:
- Those services may collect information according to their own privacy policies.
- Any content you paste into a Third-Party Service is shared by you, under your control.
- We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Third-Party Services.
3. Prohibited Data Types
Zyntria Web Studio is designed for creating and editing HTML content. You should not use the Service to store, paste, or process sensitive personal data within projects or support channels, including:
- Social Security numbers or government-issued identification numbers
- Financial account numbers or payment card information
- Medical or health-related information
- Biometric identifiers
- Passwords, authentication tokens, or secret keys (including API keys)
- Any other sensitive personal data not necessary for typical HTML authoring
You are responsible for the content you store locally and for what you choose to share externally (including via copy/paste to Third-Party Services). If you include sensitive information in your local projects, that information may remain on your device until you delete it or clear browser storage.
4. How We Use Information
We use information solely to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Troubleshoot errors and improve performance and reliability
- Protect the Service from abuse, misuse, and security incidents
- Respond to support requests and other communications you initiate
- Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce agreements
We do not sell Personal Information. We do not use your local editor content for advertising. We do not automatically transmit your editor content to AI providers or other Third-Party Services.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell Personal Information.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
We may use reputable service providers for hosting, infrastructure, and support tooling. These providers may process limited technical information (for example, server logs) as necessary to operate and secure the Service, subject to confidentiality and security obligations.
You may choose to share content externally (for example, by copying HTML into an LMS, downloading files, printing, or using Third-Party Services). These actions are initiated by you and are governed by the privacy practices of the destinations you choose.
We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, subpoena, court order, or other lawful government request. Where legally permitted, we evaluate such requests for validity before responding.
We may disclose information when necessary to protect the security, rights, property, or safety of XENRYA, users, or the public.
We may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
6. Data Retention
Local Storage Data (such as projects, HTML, snapshots, and settings) is retained on your device until you delete it within the Service (if available), clear your browser storage, or uninstall/reset your browser profile. We generally do not have access to your Local Storage Data unless you choose to send it to us (for example, in a support email).
We retain support communications for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain support history, and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of support emails or attachments, subject to legal and operational constraints.
Operational and security logs (if applicable to the hosted delivery of the Service) are retained for reasonable periods to support system integrity, security monitoring, and abuse prevention.
7. Security
We implement reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service, including:
- Encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) for web delivery where applicable
- Operational monitoring for abuse and reliability
- Least-privilege practices for systems that host the Service
Because the Service is local-first, the security of your projects and content also depends on your device and browser security. You are responsible for:
- Securing access to your device and browser profile
- Understanding that locally stored projects may be accessible to other users of the same device/browser profile
- Not storing secrets or sensitive information in local projects
No system is completely secure. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
If we become aware of a confirmed security incident affecting systems we operate that involves Personal Information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate and mitigate the incident and provide notices as required by applicable law.
8. Data Location and International Transfers
If the Service is hosted and delivered via our infrastructure, it is currently operated primarily in the United States using reputable commercial hosting providers. Depending on service provider locations and the nature of web delivery, limited technical information (such as logs) may be processed in other jurisdictions using commercially reasonable safeguards.
If you use Third-Party Services (including AI providers), those services may process data in accordance with their own policies and locations.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of Personal Information.
Because Zyntria Web Studio is local-first, many privacy requests can be satisfied by managing your Local Storage Data directly (for example, deleting projects or clearing browser storage). If you contact us regarding Personal Information we may hold (for example, support communications), we will respond consistent with applicable law.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age, or such higher age as required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children.
11. Government Users and Public Records
Government users are responsible for compliance with FOIA, public records laws, and records-retention obligations applicable to their use of the Service. XENRYA does not determine disclosure obligations except as required by law.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the Service or on our website. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
